alt.80s is an occasional pub based music night usually found at The Rose , Queens Road , Norwich .. The night runs from 8pm til around midnight . The plan of the night is to play a darker side of the 80s as a relief to the usual 'Wham!' heavy club nights that are abound !

A facebook group has been created for folk to add requests in advance , quite often to educate this DJ as to some of the more darker elements that are available for play ! Whilst this isn't a really hardcore dark night , it's not difficult for anyone to enjoy this over a more poppy variant that seems to be more common !
